Featured this weekend in Lido Marina Village: the Female Maker’s Market! Coming Saturday, over 30 women-owned small businesses will be hosted in the Village to showcase everything from handmade jewelry to food, flower arrangements to decor. Formerly, we’ve collaborated with these lovely ladies to host Galentine’s Giveaways and more to show Electric Boat Rental’s support for female empowerment. This year will be our THIRD time partnering with the Market, offering a great opportunity to win a 2-hour boat ride with us on any colored boat of your choosing (including pink!) redeemable any day from Monday to Sunday.
Female Maker’s Market founder, Ronnie M., began her mercantile collective in 2020 after millions of small businesses were forced to close down following the pandemic. Her vision centered around creating a “commUNITY” to uplift and support over 500+ female-owned businesses navigating the creation of their own products. There’s so much power in numbers; she’s found a unique niche in pop-up markets across Southern California to exhibit everything her collective has to offer!

Here at Electric Boat Rentals, we have a personalized office staff of hard-working women behind the scenes to provide you with the absolute best rental experience for boating around Newport Harbor and Balboa Island. It only makes sense we partner with other businesses driven by women pursuing their passions through amazing services and handcrafted goods, local to the Orange County area. Along with our 2-hour rental giveaway, the Female Maker’s Market will be offering a fabulous package this Saturday pictured below:
